I enjoyed sharing the experience with a group. We started out strong with a conference call but fizzled out. We were still committed to the 40 days. Personally in the book I wanted to see more testimonials. The biggest change I noticed was more of a prophetic nudging. I noticed I am responding more quickly to the urges even though they are slight urges. Also during the journey I only meet with people in my personal time if they meet 3 criteria; ministry, business or sheer life-givers who inspire and bring joy. Though the journey did not yield "my" expected results, I accept that God is still answering "my" prayer which is, "Lord, when you created me, what did you have in mind? I want to become that person."Product details

I really love this book. God blessed me so much doing this time. I received a miracle from god and he healed my body, son joined church and husband renewed his faith and returned to church. The four people I prayed for also healed.
I am loving the approach of this book. I have recommended and purchased it for several friends. I pray that others are as blessed as I have been by it.
I haven't completed this book but know it is a great prayer plan. It takes discipline to continue with this, so I am praying for the discipline to do it. I wish I had bought the book form instead of the kindle version. I think I would be more successful.
Fantastic book that connects the reader with the Lord for a 40 day prayer vigil. It really strengthened my walk and blessed me greatly. I have given the book to others and they love it and the life change it helps to bring about
This is my 2nd edition of Give Me 40 Days in 16 years. This book has encouraged me to give God 40 Days of targeted prayer multiple times over the years with amazing results. I have bought & handed out multiple copies to friends & family so that there are groups of us using this book in different states. Love the devotions that keep me on track with my relationship with God.
This prayer journal bible study saved my life and my son's as he was battling Mental Illness and addiction. It led me to listen to God more and then led us to WestBridge, a rehab dual diagnosis facility. He is now 9 years sober and works there as a counselor/care manager. The first time I completed this book was over 10 years ago and it positively impacted my life. I completed it again recently (2018) and it was just as good the second time. I highly recommend this book. It helps break lifestyle ruts and is a springboard to make positive changes.
